This neighborhood dive bar with a huge outdoor patio offers cheap drinks and draws a diverse crowd. Very queer friendly. Check their calendar for live salsa dancing parties. 3158 Mission Street 1.5 blocks

They have a great outdoor area and are very LGBT friendly. (Back in the day, it used to be SF's favorite lesbian bar, but now pretty much everyone goes there).
