Albenga is worth a tour! Its historic sites have to been seen. The Battistero Paleocristiano and the Museum (Diocesano)as well as the Naval Museum are the top attractions. But you can also relax a bit and do some shopping, nice fashion boutiques are there for you as well as little antiques shops. Refresh and treat yourself with a nice gelato (Casa del Gelato) or maybe a pizza (Sotto Il). The Restaurant Il Pernambuco offers Ligurian and local food in a vary sophisticated manner. Our favorite in Albenga.

The ancient town of Albenga, still with it's Roman walls and medieval towers. Checkout the doors that have been made, remade and made again as the street level increased over the centuries.
