Chinatown has diverse cuisine but has only a few restaurants that provide Chinese cuisine. Chinatown is a very active neighborhood with shopping and entertainment. You can also find outdoor musicians performing there.

Concerts and D.C.’s Capitals and Wizards take center stage at Verizon Center, the National Portrait Gallery is a more human scaled part of the Smithsonian with its artistic aesthetic, and everything from hot dog carts to upmarket restaurants is open to serve you.

A tiny hole-in-the-wall place near the Verizon center to get authentic hand-pulled noodles and affordable roast duck. The things I order here are the the roast duck, fried dumplings, sauteed noodles, or noodle soup with roast duck.
