The National Library houses exhibition halls, 12 reading rooms with internet access, a theater, an amphitheater, cafeteria, storage areas and administrative offices. The Library contains among thousands of books the "Hemeroteca Nacional", the biggest collection of newspapers and magazines in the country.

For the general reader but especially for Academics who want to investigate Peruvian topics, the modern National Peruvian Library is also 5 to 10 minutes away by car. You can easily access it walking or biking there as well. Electric scooters are available in the surroundings too. Para el lector general pero especialmente para los académicos interesados en temas peruanos, la moderna Biblioteca Nacional del Peru esta también a 5-10 minutos en carro y se puede llegar a ella muy fácilmente a pie o en bicicleta también. Scooters eléctricos están disponibles en los alrededores también.
