Brilliant for children to splash around in, or anyone who wants to enjoy a barbeque by the side of an old ford. A favourite of local children who will splash for hours in the shallow water. Small cafe open in the summer. Lots of people bring barbeques here.

Fantastic for picnics and paddling in the streams and ponds. Stunning when the Bluebells are up in spring and for Leaf Peeping in the autumn. There’s a small cafe open in high season and toilets.

A pretty place for a picnic, at a beautiful stream in the forest. Great for paddling.

A picturesque spot for all the family to have a picnic and paddle in the gentle, shallow river. There are lovely walks to be had here too especially during the spring when the forest is filled with bluebells.
