If you wonna have a spectecular View to Down Town climb the Southern (higher) Tower of the Stephansdom Cathedral on Foot. The Northern Tower has an Elevator.

St. Stephen's Cathedral Dating back to 1147, St. Stephen's Cathedral is one of Vienna's most impressive landmarks. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna and the largest church in the country. The cathedral boasts a 445 foot-high tower, an elaborately patterned and coloured roof and a very extravagant interior complete with 18 altars and several chapels. The cathedral is also home to many fine works of art, some dating back as long ago as the fifteenth century.
