Mexicali Taco & Co.

This place is very close to Dodger Stadium, so it’s a great place to go before a game. It’s a casual place; you order at the front and sit down inside or there’s also a patio. They have excellent tacos. Their flour tortillas are actually from Mexicali. They have a taco called Cachetada, which sort of means “a slap in the face.” It’s a crunchy tortilla with melted cheese over it, and then chorizo or any other type of meat. I would recommend it with chorizo and sauce—and ask them to add a fried egg. That part is not on the menu, but it’s the best thing ever.
