easier hike from the entrance of the Northwood School. Nice family hike.

This is a great hike for the family. Here in Lake Placid, right next to Northwood School is the trail head. There is a rock top and the views are out of this world. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy your view. WEAR appropriate shoes, bring water, a backpack with your supplies - just in case you need something. A definite if you are just starting out and don't want to do one that is hours long and 4000 ft. I can recommend them too, just stop in Sparkle and I will get you going.
