A very popular valley, where you can find two waterfalls. The first of them is situated a couple of hundred metres from the main road. The path leading to it is paved for most of the way. Near the waterfalls there are several stands selling food and souvenirs. You can swim in the waterfalls so I recommend taking your swimming things with you. An interesting fact is that the kings and queens of the Chakri dynasty liked visiting this place. Szabo, Pavel. There are 2 Namuang waterfalls in Koh Samui. Muang in Thai means purple and is named so because of the purple rocks that form the falls. Namuang Waterfall 1 is a beautiful 18m high waterfall and easily accessible by a short walk into the jungle from the parking area nearby, making it a great place to stop off for a quick photo. There is a lovely pool formed at the foot of the waterfall where you will find tourists and locals alike jumping off rocks and taking a dip to cool off. There is Elephant trekking in the forestation park close to the 35-meter-height Waterfall which fresh water flow from centre Na Mueang Mountain.

Beautiful wooded area around the waterfall, swimming, huge ancient trees, small Thai food restaurants and some souvenir shops. This is where Thai families go at weekends and on holidays. Note there are 2 waterfalls at Na Meuang. This is the original, also known as Waterfall 1. Waterfall 2 - Safari Park is close by but not at all the same experience - highly commercial, expensive and questionable treatment of their animals. Not recommended!

is about 80 meter high. You have to be prepared for a walk to get here. Rocks can be slippery so adequate footwear is advised and not ideal for elderly or people with restricted mobility.
