Low key local scene, pool table, often fun DJs. Definitely low-frills. Popcorn maker. We've met and made friends with a variety of neighbors here.

This is a classic corner bar (it's been around since 1948) with a pool table, pinball and legendary Bloody Marys. In recent years it has become a bit of a hipster destination (their slogan — featured on their super fun t-shirts which make a unique SF souvenir — is: "The Holiest Place To Fall From Grace"). Nothing fancy, just a nice close place to grab a beer.
