You can drive your car onto the ferry and visit Southport, fun experience if you have never done it before, takes about 30 minutes each way.

Take the Ferry over to Southport, NC. You can take your car or park and go as a passenger only. My grandson fondly calls this going on the "cherry"!

Very scenic way to get to Wilmington. It takes about 30 minutes to cross. The cost is $5 per car.
