This is one of the best experiences on the Peninsula for all age groups. It's best to visit at low tide! We pack a lunch and spend the day.

Check the tide tables and head over to Salt Creek Recreation area at low tide. Washington’s coastline can be rugged, Salt Creek shoreline is no exception, sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are highly recommended. Do not to harass the sealife found in tide-pools. Marine ecosystems are very fragile.
