Not so far from Sabana, you can hike in a technical trail to get the awesome views of the GAM (all major cities from CR). You can search for more details in "Que Buen Lugar" web site or ask me about it. This is a very popular site for hiking groups, you can also message "Hike Club CR" in Instagram an mentioned me so they may treat you extra well.

Jaymo: I am an international mountaineer (Jaymojourneyman.com) I recommend a walk-up Pico Blanco. Half or a full day. You can even start directly from the villa. Additionally I can suggest many walks and hikes throughout Costa Rica. :)
