Tsumura is the other contender for most authentic Japanese restaurant in the city. It's a relatively well-kept secret because it's situated inside an office building, 88 Corporate Center.

I'm not exaggerating when I say Tsumura is the best Japanese restaurant I've tried in Manila. I think it's even better then the best ones in Little Tokyo. No kidding. The fish is so fresh and the dishes are so tasty that I guess I'll get addicted to it. Tsumura is set in the heart of Makati's Central Business District. To find it, you have to enter the Corporate Plaza building and go to the 2nd floor. Nothing indicates there's a Japanese restaurant there. That's why I took so long to discover this wonderful place. Ok, let's talk about the present. And future. NOW it's my fave place to have sushi and sashimi.

We highly recommend this Sushi bar. Many Japanese come here. They have special prices on the lunch sets during saturdays.
