The famous place where Swami Vivekananda, Bob Dylan and the like visited for tapping the creativity within them. 7 km which is a 15 minute drive from the property. Or walk up the hill to treat your eyes to the beautiful view of the Himalayan ranges.

Kasar devi temple is one of the must visit sights in almora. There is one devi temple and one shiva temple. Best place to meditate. Even vivekananda visited this temple and did meditation here. NASA study shows the presence of megnatic plates here, which is rare in the world. My personal favourite. Only 3 kms from Prakriti's Nest.

The local main temple is one of the best spots to watch the sunset. Kasar Devi is said to be under the influence of the Van Allen Radiation Belt, having a powerful magnetic field, same as Machu Picchu and Stonehenge. Many famous figures like Cat Stevens, Timothy Leary, George Harrison, Robert Thurman among others came to visit. Kasar Devi was especially popular as a destination during the Hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s (therefore the area is also called Hippie Hill or Crank's Ridge), and continues to attract trekkers and tourists, both domestic and foreign.
