Summers: The Crested Butte farmers market is Sunday’s 11-2 right on Elk Ave (their main street). The GUNNISON fathers market is on Saturday’s from 9:30-1 right off Main Street.

At the top of Elk Avenue—every Sunday from 10am-2pm, June through September—Crested Butte has a farmers market that boasts the best vendors in the area. All the foods here have been produced locally (within 100 miles of town) by requirement. Choose from various produce fresh-from-the-oven baked goods, brunch options, and much more. In addition, local artists and crafts are also available at many of the tents on the west end of Elk Ave. Custom jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photography, and gift items as unique as the artists who create them.
