The island is a short 3-minute boat ride from the Kaivopuisto Park beach. Winter time there is a bridge. The swimming beach is supervised. Ice swimming in winter. The Uunisaari has restaurant.

In winter there is a bridge, in summer a small ferry that brings you to Uunisaari. They have a nice brunch place and Sauna with a jacuzzi open all year around.

This is a small, lovely island worth visiting! You can also walk from there to the other nearby islands. Uunisaari is only 10 minutes boat trip from Kaivopuisto Park (Kompassitori). During the summer there is a boat connection and during the winter you can easily walk there using the bridge. If you try the food, i recommend to take the salmon soupI
