Panama Flats Trail Loop is a 2.1 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located beside Hyacinth Park in Saanich, that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching. Dogs are welcome to use this trail but must be kept under control. The flat dirt loop trail along the small dike around Panama Flats pond fills with water and birds in the fall/winter/spring seasons. It's possible to walk through the middle of the pond on a dike at low water. The trails can be muddy during the wet seasons. There are no toilets available. Colquitz Creek runs the length of this park.
