Casa Aranda - In addition to El Pimpi this cafe is also an institution in Malaga and has been serving traditional churros con chocolate since 1932. It always seems to be busy and always seems to be open. This cafe's charm lies in the fact that it looks like it hasn’t changed since opening all those years ago ! Take your cinnamon sweet dough and thick, thick chocolate and dip it like a local !

If you have a sweet tooth, head for churros (like a long doughnut) usually served with a thick hot-chocolate dipping sauce. Casa Aranda is one of the oldest establishments in the city and still one of the best. Make sure you ask for them ‘con chocolate’ to dip
