One of my favorite loop trails begins from the Hawaii Nature Center. Its about 2.5 miles round trip, and does get steep! Be sure to bring hiking shoes (or at least sneakers/trainers) and a water bottle.

There are several trails that start from here. Hiking is a great way to see the tropical forests of the island and see some great views.
