Now here's a cool place. Still within walking distance is the Las Animas Grill... formerly known as Café What A Grind. It's at the corner of Commercial and Cedar streets. On Fridays, they have open mike night. Themes vary from poetry to comedy, to music. They have fun, creative food & drinks there, too.
