Central train center. 10 minute taxi ride from the flat. Once you've dumped your bag the city center is a 10 minute walk back up the hill up Gloucester Lane. Turn left out of door and take small road left up the hill. Walking is the best and easiest way to enjoy a visit to Edinburgh's sights.

In the heart of Edinburgh, Waverley is very convenient to get to/from Edinburgh, most of the populor Buses stops here including the 22 which will bring you directly too/from the Gyle Centre to Ocean Terminal.

Edinburgh's main railway station with excellent links to Glasgow, Scotland, and the rest of the UK. 10-15 minutes' walk to my flat if you use the Market Street exit and head straight up Fleshmarket Close.
