The brainchild of Greg Marchard, the French chef who was dubbed ‘Frenchie’ by his former boss Jamie Oliver, it looks more like a chic New York brasserie than a petit French restaurant, while the menu echoes his travels between London and the Big Apple. When we visited, the menu was full of summer flavors: the courgette flower tempura was simultaneously crunchy and juicy; the stone bass with Provencal vegetables was almost too beautifully presented to eat; the duck fois-gras garnished with seasonal apricot, verbena and pistachio was rich and fruity; while the tomato and gooseberry salad was something we’ll be recreating at home.

Really nice and reasonable steak house - Highly recommend... Can be quite a long wait, so get there before you want to eat, expect to wait 2 hours for a table, but there is a pub next door and they text you when your table is ready.

If you like Steak you must go here! This place gets very busy, so if you are in the area you must put your name down first as you can't book. There are also branches of this restaurant in Kings Cross, Shorditch and also London Bridge. Check out the website for more!
