Iconic hike in Provo. The trail leads you to the top or bottom of the giant Y on the mountains. You can take the trail further back to explore more as well.

If you're feeling really adventurous, you can hike up to the Y. Fair warning, this hike is steep and in the summer, really hot. A lot of the college kids do it as a rite of passage. The views are incredible from here. If you want to go on an enjoyable trail, but still get incredible views, I would walk along the bonneville trail. Its a few feet lower than the Y. It's good for beginners.

Hiking the Y is a must in Provo. It is about a 2 mile hike to the Y on the mountain, is steep and has 13 turns. Go early in the day, especially in the summer, and plan to be down before dark.
