This rooftop lounge, which looks out on the beach, sits atop Venice Beach’s Hotel Erwin. Take the elevator up to the roof and you’ll find a great spot to enjoy some cocktails high above the busy Venice boardwalk. Your date will tell their friends all about it. And their Instagram will be better off, too. The view is lovely day and night, but at its best at sunset. The shift from day to night kind of changes the setting of your date, too, and gives you the option of going somewhere else afterwards.

Best spot around to grab a drink and watch the sunset by the beach. This bar is on top of the iconic Erwin hotel.

It's the only roof top bar in Venice and it's always my go to spot if I want to see the views and have a drink. I would highly recommend to get a reservation in advance or you will be standing. But even if you don't get a reservation, it's still a sweet place to view the beach and relax. Honestly, I'm not a drinker, but I will gladly give into peer pressure and have a few while taking in the breath taking view of the beach. I never bothered to order any food b/c it looked mediocre for the price. If you are gonna be there during the day I would highly suggest you put on sunscreen.

It's not the food or drink that will impress you at this place, but the views from the bar/lounge on the rooftop of Hotel Erwin. It's a perfect spot to get a "lay of the land" and take photos.
