Buses that can get you from one side of the city to the other as well as a redline coaches that can you to the east, north and west coast of Tasmania which is located on Liverpool street. Within walking distance.

While car is the easiest option for travel around Hobart, the region is well-serviced by Metro Tas buses. This office is situated in the city "bus mall". You can purchase bus tickets here (you can buy tickets on buses as well); also get hold of a Metro Green Card, which you can load with funds electronically to make your way around.

Metro runs the public bus transport in Hobart. There customer service shop is in the Elizabeth street bus mall.
