Stunning scenery and a fabulous walk. Steep in places but is a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a sunny day. Also check out Swinsty, Fewston and Grimwith Resevoirs. All lovely to walk around.

Great walking location nearby. You can do a loop of the reservoir from the car park. Footpaths are easy to follow and there a links to Fewston reservoir via the Washburn.

This is our favourite reservoir in the area. It's a bit more wild with varied landscapes. It's about five miles all the way around.

Beautiful walk , 10 minute walk from our cottage . Or by car just a few moments. Car parking available and usually there’s a lovely gentleman selling teas, coffee and cakes . Watching the sunset here on a night is highly recommended.
