Walk around the lake or rent a boat to start your journey on the lake could be a pretty good start for sightseeing in Hannover. If you happen to be here in August then you will be able to experience Mascheefest.

The Maschsee Lake offers the people of Hannover a recreational area in the heart of the city, both on the water and all around it: for yachting, canoeing and pedal-boating, for joggers, skaters and strollers.
