An artisanal bakery and cafe that uses traditional techniques and the best seasonal ingredients to create delicious, handmade breads and viennoiserie pastries. Take the 30 minute coastal walk into this small neighbouring village, you wont be disappointed.

Why not cycle to Westgate (or a bit further to their other location in Broadstairs) and grab a coffee? And a rosemary focaccia, serrano ham and rocket pesto sandwich? And a pistachio millionaire slice? And a plum and almond tart? And a loaf of sour dough to take away? (Mainly because you will struggle to cycle home if you eat all that but this place turns me into a real glutton.)

Staple is a coffee shop and cafe offering house baked goods such as sourdough bread, pastries and cakes. Also has a range of sandwiches for lunch to take away. The coffee is superb and the cakes are delicious. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
