This is a slightly odd, somewhat touristy, and very classic Florida experience. This juice shop set down in the middle of the Maxwell family orange grove a few generations ago is charming and has really good juice, and orange ice cream. It's also got a lot of weird tourist trinkets. Best: you can sit in one of about thirty rockers on the front porch and rock the afternoon away in the shade. I do truly recommend this place.

Highlands county's only remaining orange packing house. Quaint country store and orange ice cream. Plus, watch a squirrel eat corn on the cob from a rocking chair ... the squirrel is on the rocking chair.
