Take the 30 minute trip to Washington island in your car on a boat... Yes, that's a thing here. The island has many things to do for the day school house beach, the lavender fields, the cherry train and more but I will warn you... You can get left on the island and have to fend for yourself. LOL... Seriously pay attention to the time because it will fly by while there.

Travel the ferry from Northport to quiet and serene Washington Island. When on the island, ride the cherry train, have a picnic on the beautiful rock beach, visit the lavender farm or have a drink and join the bitters club! A cool day trip!
