Take ferry No. 1 towards sunset time and pass through the Grand Canal, if the weather permits, try to go to the seats outside. It's a wonderful experience, if you can't make the gondola ride it's an economic alternative. The ticket costs € 7.50 one way (daily ticket costs € 20)
