A very chill hiking area close to Mariposa town.

A moderately challenging route and takes an average 2hrs to complete. This trail is great for fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. You have do a little bit of navigation and you are not going on the conventional trails all the time. Carry water and a map or an online navigation tool.

Especially enjoyable in spring but great for hiking and biking year round! Some trails are much more strenuous than others and with lots of poison oak—happy to help you decide which one is the right one for your party.

Stockton Creek Preserve is a rolling hike through the Sierra Nevada foothills that will get your heart pumping as you climb up and down the ridgeline that separates the town of Mariposa from the Stockton Creek Watershed.
