This is a huge museum housed in an old school. Carve out some time if you have young children. When my kids were young we would pack a lunch and stay for the entire day. There is a playground on the premises. Check out their events page as they offer classes and special events.

Very interesting historical museum for kids located in Oak Ridge. Gives the history on the atomic bomb and the creation of the, "Secret City." Also known as Oak Ridge.
