10 Miles from the Barn- 431 Windy Hill Rd, Greenwich, NY 12834 Dionondahowa Falls Overlook is a 0.6 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Greenwich, New York that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This trail is just to the north of the Ice Cream Man on Windy Hill Rd. in Greenwich. The trailhead is easy to miss. It's not well marked. Go slow and look for a pull off on your right about 2/3 of a mile north of the intersection of Windy Hill Rd with Route 29. There is space for two cars to pull off and the trail is marked by a sign not visible from the rd. This trail is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile long and winds along a hill crest overlooking the Battenkill River. There is a waterfall that can be quite impressive and loud. You can climb down the small hill to the falls. It's fairly easy for most but be careful with younger kids. In the water pools you can find cray fish and frogs. Fun little adventure on a hot summer day!
