Takaka is about an hours drive from Kohwai Cottage. The village is full of lovely little shops and the market on a Saturday from 9 am until 1.30 pm, just adds to the vibe, with local & Exotic Food, Art, Crafts etc

In the library carpark behind the organic shop in Takaka. Open every Saturday in Summer 8 til 1pm. In winter just the first Saturday of the month. Best coffee in the caravan.

Come enjoy the laid-back vibe, local produce, and handmade goods at the Takaka Village Market. This is a highlight of the town and a good place to pick up everyday goods as well as special tokens and gifts.
