Very beautiful sight, very popular with tourists and locals alike. Catch the sunset if you can, which may although be tricky mid summer when the sun never sets!

Grótta lighthouse is one of my favorite place in Reykjavik. A must visit to watch beautyful sunset on bright summer night. Northern lights on a cold and dark winter evening. A lovely area to take a short refreshing walk by the seaside . All year round. Try to find the little secret hot tup for bathing your feet!

I got married here, it is magical! just be aware of the tides table and follow it, you dont want to be stuck in the island for 6 hours.
