Während des Sommers ein toller Ort zum Entspannen bei Strandatmosphere. Weiterhin können hier Paddelboote ausgeliehen werden. This is a great place to chill during the summer time. Furthermore you can start kayak tours from here.

Good place (but one of many) to hire kayaks starting from 6euro/hr for a single. On a sunny weekend day its worth reserving one in advance. Kayaking is especially good for beginners in Leipzig because there isn't really any big boats on the water. Also beach volleyball and a beach bar nearby.
