Manpuku

The Japanese ramen noodles dished up at Manpuku are excellent. There are two locations to choose from, one in Kingsford and the other in Chatswood. Regardless of which you go to, you’re guaranteed handmade noodles and memorable flavour combinations—you can also add a ‘spice bomb’ if you like your ramen with an extra chilli hit. They’re known for their tonkotsu pork broth, but I like their shio-based clear chicken soups. Try the Shio Gara, which is ramen topped with soy-based chicken broth, pork belly, bean sprouts, bamboo, shallots, and seaweed.
