Situated on the Two Moors Way, this is a perfect bolthole after a day exploring. This self-contained tiny annexe with private entrance is attached to a 550 year-old former Mill in the rural hamlet of Ponsworthy, 3 miles from the famous Widecombe. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

Beautiful 1-bedroom studio within a walled garden.

The garden studio is a small, self-contained annex on the ground floor of my home. It is hidden away in a courtyard just off the main street. It has convenient shops including an organic store, a small co-op supermarket as well as cafés, pubs, and takeaways. The garden studio has a double futon bed with superior mattress with en-suite shower room with a small kitchen area a washing machine and central heating. A small outside patio eating/sitting area within a lovely south facing garden.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

North Barn is an 18th century stone building, bursting with character, set on the banks of the River Dart. Originally a corn collection point, North Barn has been renovated to a beautiful, romantic ‘one-room-living’ self-catering space. The patio doors open up on to a large deck area overlooking the river from an elevated height thus giving you great views across the River Dart.
