Our luxury Shepherd hut is nestled in its own private walled garden. Once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back, unwind in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! Be surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches. Why not take a dip in our natural lake!

Darley Abbey Mills Cottage

This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double & one queen sized bedroom, small sofa bed and delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. NB. Stairs can be steep for the infirm.

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

Bridgefoot is a beautiful 17th century cottage situated in the Peak District. Guests have full use of the property including a modern, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car strongly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.
