This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double & one queen sized bedroom, small sofa bed and delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. NB. Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.
