The Peppermint Cottage is a unique destination. The Peppermint Cottage is a place for guests to “Step Back in Time” and experience the simple pleasures of life including a warm fire, relaxing under the stars in a hot tub, sauna or strolling our gardens. 1845 School House in the Heart of Pultneyville

Fully renovated in the spring of 2021. According to the Pultneyville Historical Society, the first school, a small crude building, was built on this site in 1808. It burned in 1816 and was replaced by a larger schoolhouse. The cobblestone building was built in 1845 and served as a school until 1943 when the Williamson School District centralized. It is now a private residence. Notice the cobbles set at an angle. A metal bar circles the building as reinforcement — a modern addition.
