Just 5km away from the famous town of Primosten, it sits in a quiet Croatian village, offering a secluded escape from busy city life. A maze of charming stone-walled paths leads you to its stepped terraces and decks where you can relax in complete privacy while you contemplate the horizon. Staff lives onsite in a separate apartment, making this contemporary aquatic villa particularly suitable for family vacations and social events. Everything in this ultra-luxe vacation home has been thoughtfully designed to offer minimum distraction from the sensational views. From the mirror-like infinity pool which appears to drop into the ocean, to the glass walls and huge windows that frame your experience here, if water is your natural element you’re in the right place. You can even enjoy a birds-eye view of the sunset from your bathtub and some of the designer furniture is actually transparent! Indoors, acres of glass send prisms of light dancing across the gleaming tiled floors and high-gloss surfaces, illuminating the soft curves of the contoured furnishings. ‘Ghost’ chairs make a frequent appearance and there are so many perfect places to sit and admire the view, it would be impossible to list them all. A concealed modern kitchen and outdoor oven make light work of meal preparation and you can choose to enjoy them from the indoor dining table or alfresco by candlelight on the terrace. Digital distractions are also on hand if you need them: there’s a satellite television and DVD player and Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. However you spend your days on the Split Riviera, you can look forward to dropping into a large comfortable bed each night, lulled into a deep sleep by the breaking waves below, and awakening each morning to that refreshing vista. Modern deluxe en-suite bathrooms serve each of the four bedrooms and Bedroom Four benefits from a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and access to the terrace. Please ask if you need a baby’s crib. Villa Paradise

Please note that this home is in close proximity to an ongoing construction project. Find inspiration on the coast of Dalmatia at Villa Paradise. From its setting in the exclusive oceanfront Golden complex on the island of Čiovo, this Croatia vacation rental looks out over pebble beach and sparkling seas to the mountains and the city of Split. Its four bedrooms can accommodate up to eight guests on an idyllic family holiday or a picture-perfect getaway with friends. Start each day with a coffee at the al-fresco dining area overlooking the water, take a dip in the swimming pool or hot tub, while away the afternoon on a lounger on the sunny terrace and finish the day with dinner from the barbecue, followed by a show on the satellite TV or a catch-up over Wi-Fi. Guests of Villa Paradise are also welcome to use a shared gym, and accessories such as a baby cot and high chair are available on request. The villa’s bright, modern interiors have equally lovely views through the wide glass doors to the terrace. At the heart of the home is an open-concept L-shaped great room, with a living and dining area on one side and a fully equipped kitchen on the other. Villa Paradise has two bedrooms with king beds and private en-suite bathrooms, and two bedrooms with king beds that share access to a hall bathroom. All four bedrooms have TVs and air conditioning, and three of the four boast sea views. A stay at the villa gives you the luxury of simply walking down to the pebble beach just in front of the villa, or making the 10-minute walk to Slatine Beach.
