An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

Black Sheep Barn is a luxurious two bedroom converted barn situated near Ludlow in a remote, undiscovered pocket of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Welsh Borders Bed And Breakfast

Our eco house is a relaxed and comfortable place to stay in the beautiful & unspoilt Welsh Borders. We have a large garden growing most of our fruit & vegetables, our own chickens and provide free cider while stocks last. Please understand that we are a traditional bed and breakfast establishment. I know that the listing states that a whole flat or house is available, it is not. Unfortunately AirB&B insist that we put this otherwise it on will only list one bedroom.

The house is ideally placed on Church Street, with views of the church and open countryside at the rear, yet is only a short walk from the centre of town. The path leading down to the River Wye is close by. The house has its own private garden. Meet and Greet or self check in with key safe. Guests can choose which option best suits their needs. The cottage occupies a converted farm house on our working sheep and cattle farm. There are extensive grounds ideal for walking, a barbeque and seating area to catch the evening sun. The cottage has a wood burner and is centrally heated.
