Close to A19 & outlet shopping centre. 15 mins drive to Durham City, 30mins in each direction to central Newcastle & North Yorkshire. For those wanting to explore the outdoors, Seaham Harbour is 5 mins away. National Cycle Network Route 1 and Castle Eden Dene, a historic woodland & site of special scientific interest are on the doorstep.

"HAY LOFT" quiet rural location, close to Durham

The Loft is located above our garage in a large garden and field totalling 8 acres. We're at the end of a farm track in the middle of the countryside, half a mile from the nearest road meaning ZERO traffic noise. The headroom is kind of tight along the two sides but, at 6 feet tall I manage okay. Perfect for two, but can easily cope with 4 people. The Loft is accessed by external concrete steps. The accommodation is not suitable for children but we've squeezed them in on occasions.

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland
