We had a fantastic night here. A beautiful, peaceful and private space just outside Newcastle…. but it could have been hundreds of miles away by the way this lovely spot felt. Kevin was an extremely responsive and helpful host and made sure we could get our trailer safely off the road, waiting outside in the rain for us to arrive! The space was magical and very clean. We loved watching the ducklings settle in for the night on the pond just outside our door. And it was even better having breakfast on the decking with the Aylesbury ducks and friendly chicken! An awesome stay, thank you.

I really loved staying at Sean's place. It was squeaky clean, really homely and they had thought of everything you could possibly need. There was a fridge and a microwave and breakfast was on offer too which I don't think I knew about beforehand! If I'm in the area again, this will be the first place I try to book!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Why would you not want to stay in an incredible castle, with great food and drink on site, local amenities and lovely helpful staff! Would recommend and definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Amazing location, perfect for the quay side, city centre and st James park. Room was really modern, bed super comfy. They even had underfloor heating in the bathroom which was lovely. It was a really quiet stay, no noise and the staff were friendly. Plus they had free croissants for all guests in the morning. Definitely would stay again, 100% recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Lijie’s place. Beautifully decorated, spacious & very comfortable; centrally located. Lijie was very warm & welcoming, as was her spouse Kostas. And at their restaurant Albion, right next door, we enjoyed some absolutely delicious food. We highly recommend this wonderful place, a home away from home, & we would choose it again next time we are in Sunderland!

I had a great stay at Julie and Jamie's place. The room was lovely and quiet. Really clean, tidy and comfortable with everything I needed and more! I didn't expect the breakfast things so that was a really lovely and thoughtful surprise! Highly recommended and I will look to stay again if I am in the area.

Fantastic room, great decor and facilities, good comfortable large double bed, clean bathroom with a good shower. Great host, very responsive to all my messages. Good VFM
