Our secluded cabin is surrounded by ancient oak tree forest and all the wildlife that comes with it. It’s so peaceful that you will only hear the river and the birds. Set in 10 acres of our own land for you to explore and easy access to Snowdonia public foothpaths, it’s perfect for those looking to spend some time in nature. Welcome to Dolwaen. Our semi-detached, stone cottage in the Snowdonia village of Maentwrog, close to some stunning walks and truly amazing scenery. Dolwaen is perfectly situated for getting out & about in the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Ideally placed to visit historic town of Harlech, with its spectacular castle and quirky shops. Porthmadog is also close by where you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway across to Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Truly idyllic is the first thing that comes to mind when opening the heavy timber gates to this outstanding property! Within its traditional stone walled boundary, you're greeted by the most tranquil and picturesque of settings on the banks of the Afon Dwyryd. Afon Cariad is a traditional detached stone cottage set in three acres of land on the riverbank and at the foot of a beautiful nature trail and nature reserve - Coed Cymerau.
