A former Blacksmiths, the Forge has been renovated with a stylish, contemporary interior with views of the farm, the moors and the alpaca boys right opposite! Charming, calm and peaceful with easy access to nearby amenities - Lydford Gorge, a tearoom, moorland walks, cycle routes and a bus to Tavistock and Okehampton.

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Riverside cottage

The most idyllic riverside escape! Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

Self Catering, Superior Suite (Double bed)

Lydford House is ideally situated off the A30 and on Route27 within the tranquil village of Lydford in Dartmoor National Park. Lydford Gorge is a 15-minute walk away. We are 'Eco Friendly' cutting out single use plastics and using local product/suppliers. All our mattresses are handmade locally from Dartmoor wool and our pillows are 100 wool filled. A quite and tranquil place to stay with beautiful gardens and views. The village is well served with 2 pubs within 10 minutes walking distance.

200 year old stone house located in the village of Mary Tavy, in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, with a modern interior and original features. Conveniently located on the road between Tavistock and Okehampton, both within a 10 minute drive. Easy access to a range of attractions such as Lydford Gorge, Wheal Betsy, Tavy Cleave and many more. The Devon Coast to Coast cycle route runs past, which makes it the perfect spot for those looking for a base for their cycling or hiking trip.

The Annexe at Kirtonia

Popular studio style base for those walking, riding or cycling around Dartmoor. Comfortable and relaxing space. Smart tv and wi-fi access. On the outskirts of Lydford on the A386. Lydford Gorge is a short drive away. Cross the road to the footpath that takes you onto the moor. Just 10mins off the A30 a comfortable stop over with easy access to 3 good pubs catering for all requirements. Bike storage and luggage room. Hob microwave and airfyer only. The Annexe is on a small holding.

Rural escape Shepherd’s Hut, panoramic views

The Cloves Farm Shepherd’s Hut on the western slopes of Dartmoor National Park is the perfect rural escape, boasting panoramic views of Dartmoor. The cosy cabin is situated on a family-run working dairy farm near the picturesque village of Lydford in the heart of Devon. With its charming interior, this is a perfect relaxing retreat which sleeps up to two adults. Felly House Annex

On the boarder of Devon and Cornwall, nestled in the Wolf Valley and within walking distance to Roadford lake. A perfect getaway for up to 4 people with two large roomy bedrooms, a fantastic open living area and a large outdoor decking. There's a whole heap of things to do within the local area - popular excursions are; water sports on the lake, walking and cycling. NB - the annex is not suitable for under 8 (see safety info) Recently added is a three person infra-red Sauna.

Character 2 bedroom cottage with log burner

Character cottage with all the home comforts located a short level walk from the beautiful historic town of Tavistock. Russell Cottage has been recently and extensively renovated to a high standard. This is a perfect base to explore the South West and Dartmoor. There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. A beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot bath and a separate wet room shower, and two bedrooms (1 single). Please note, there are no laundry facilities.

Galford Springs - Large barn - Private Indoor Pool

Galford springs is a detached, self contained, converted barn, with an indoor heated swimming pool and lots more indoor entertainment. It is situated on our working rural farm, in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside. Nestled in Lew valley, it is a short drive from Dartmoor national park and within an hours drive from some stunning north Devon and Cornwall beaches. Come rain or shine, there is plenty to do, to keep all ages entertained.

There are 2 fantastic pubs both serving excellent food and a farm shop. Lydford is on the Granite Way & an ideal base for walking, cycling & wild swimming. Lydford Gorge & Castle 10/15 min walk away. Tavistock & Okehampton 20 min & Bude 45 min drive making easy to explore the South West.
