If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Sycamore lodge

Our lodges are set in 6 acres of grounds offering a peaceful countryside experience in the heart of mid Wales. The lodges have outstanding views over the wildlife pond & surrounding countryside. Fully central heated, with a king size bed complete with all bedding and towels. Each lodge has its own en suite shower room with wc, kitchenette (2 ring gas hob, combination microwave, fridge, kettle, & toaster etc) with outside dining area on the large elevated decking.

Perfect for couples or a small family, Owl Hollow is a private underground retreat designed for tranquillity and relaxation. Set in the heart of the countryside, it’s also a fantastic base for exploring the Welsh outdoors.

The Cottage, Collfryn Farm Cottages

The cottage overlooks an award winning organic farm, so there are animals to meet and walks to be had right on the doorstep. Return each evening to your relaxing little nook, just enough room for four with a charming vaulted living space warmed by a wood-burner. An open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area that lets in lots of light. A large master bedroom and en-suite on the first floor and small double room and bathroom on the ground floor.

Oakwood Cabin

Oakwood is a family-friendly retreat in the Mid Wales countryside, perfect for quality time together. We accept bookings for up to two adults and one or two children (under 18), and do not accommodate adult-only groups. Enjoy our private stretch of river for fishing, paddleboarding, and canoeing, with scenic walks and cycling routes nearby. Local pubs, shops, and restaurants are within 1.5 miles, making it an ideal base to explore the area.
