We had a fantastic stay at this fully refurbished cosy cottage in Ffestiniog! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The kitchen was a real highlight—modern, well-equipped, and ideal for cooking after a day of exploring Snowdonia, which is just a short drive away. Parking was a breeze with a private spot round the back of the property—really easy to access and super handy for getting luggage in and out. The beds were comfy, and the whole house had a warm, homely feel. We also really appreciated the smooth self check-in with the lockbox, and Kevin was a great host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this place as a peaceful and convenient base for exploring the area. We’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely gorgeous setting in a peaceful beautiful part of rural Wales. Lovely to sit by the river and spot otters and birds. The apartment (1of 6 in the Mill) was comfy, warm and very well equipped. We made good use of the hot tub, pool and loved the cool BBQ hut. Christopher was really friendly and welcoming and really knowledgeable about the local area. A great place to stay and explore this part of Wales. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful week with plenty of room for our family gathering. Spacious house with everything we needed. Cosy, clean and comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus. It was great to be so close to the beach and a short walk into town. Barmouth is a nice town in a beautiful area. The children loved having their own sitting room for their toys, games and the TV. They really enjoyed the beach, amusements and catching crabs from the harbour wall. The little steam train and ferry ride over the estuary were great and lots to do and see nearby. We found the house to be really good value compared to other houses this size we have stayed in elsewhere, and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Der Aufenthalt bei Rhian war einfach nur wundervoll in allen Bereichen! Es war herrlich ruhig zum Entspannen! Es war ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem wir uns sofort Wohlgefühls haben und wir auch bei Regen herrlich relaxen konnten. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und fehlte etwas, war Rhian sofort zur Stelle. Wir konnten uns immer an sie wenden, auch bei Fragen zur Umgebung! Sie hat das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, das spürt man an jeder Ecke und hat auch zu unseren Kindern sofort einen Draht aufgebaut. Für unsere 7 köpfige Familie war es ein absolut entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Man muss sich allerdings in absoluter Natur und City Ferne wohl fühlen! Für uns war es perfekt!!! Danke Rhian!!!

Great location, lovely house, perfect for holidaying with dogs. Host very quick to respond to questions. Well equipped only thing that would’ve been handy is a dryer.

My sister and I have stayed in many Airbnbs between us and we both felt this was easily one of our top favourites! It was perfect for our family getaway. Kay was a brilliant host - excellent communication and very accommodating. The place is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. We will definitely book a stay again.

We can’t wait to return, the house was everything that we needed to have a relaxing weekend away. Location was fantastic, 5/10 mins walk down to the beach. Views from the garden were beautiful, we had BBQ and drinks in the sun before enjoying the hot tub! The log fire in the living room was cosy and easy to use. The hosts communicated well, the welcome pack was helpful and they even let us know that the house was ready earlier than check-in so we could start our trip earlier. Awesome stay - Thank you

Stayed with my Mum and dog for a week. The cottage is very well looked after and had everything we needed. My Mum took the double bed and I stayed in the room with the bunk bed, we found both to be comfortable and we slept well. It is on a main road but the advantage was that most places were very accessible. We drove into the mountains for hikes most days as well as to the coast path. Parking was no trouble on the street as there was space available right outside our front door each day. Beddgelert, Porthmadag, Portmeirion and Harlech were all within 20-30 mins drive. The cottage is very close to the estuary and we used this for our morning and evening strolls with the dog each day. I recommend this cottage and it is an especially good location for anyone walking hills or the Wales coast path.
